Recommended Local Lenders
These Middle TN lenders have earned my recommendation by providing consistent, excellent service to my clients. They don't pay to be on this page, and I get no kickbacks or compensation if you use one of these excellent loan officers. I just want you to use the best in the business. When the closing of your home is on the line, you'll be glad you have one of these local lenders working on your side.
These lenders provide better service and more options for you.*
Comparison shop because each one offers different products. Ask these lenders if you qualify for:
- down payment assistance
- 0% down conventional mortgage
- 3% down FHA mortgage
- 5% grant to cover closing costs
- THDA assistance funds
- manufactured housing loan
- bank-statement loan
- investment loan
- jumbo loan
*Each lender offers a unique set of options.
Why should you consider these lenders?
More than competitive rates. The fact is, most mortgage lenders have similar loan products, financing terms, and interest rates. The lenders above do each have unique products to differentiate themselves from typical lenders. Many lenders in TN participate in THDA funding, for example. But how many offer 100% conventional loans, 5% down payment assistance grants, or Heroes Rebates for applicants in qualified fields of work?
Getting pre-qualified doesn't matter if the lender can't close. The deciding factors in choosing a lender are:
- experience - knows the products and the process
- honesty - doesn't over-promise
- communication - is available when you need them and keeps everyone in the loop
- record - years of successful closings with borrowers like you
The loan officer's ability to get your loan through underwriting so that you can have a successful closing on time and with no surprises matters more than anything else. You can't go wrong with any of the lenders on this page.
They go above and beyond for my clients. What can I say? As a Realtor who believes in providing the best solutions for my clients, I am drawn to other real estate professionals who do the same.
They are problem solvers. Credit issues? Last minute surprises? Appraisal problems? They've seen it all and they know how to overcome obstacles and help you get into your new home.
They are available when you need them. When you (or I) need something - whether it's a pre-approval letter or just the answer to a question - these lenders are just a cell phone call away. You shouldn't have to worry about "banker's hours" in this market. As a real estate professional, I value being able to contact these lenders whenever I need them.
They are local. A home purchase is by nature a local transaction. A local lender has quicker and easier access to required documents from local governments and Home Owner's Associations. You might be surprised at how often having a local lender makes a difference in closing on time.
What if I already have a lender?
No problem. I am happy to help you find and negotiate the purchase of your home no matter who is providing the financing. Just have them get in touch with me so that we can start working together to get you into your new home.
